Social inclusion
In all our activities, we tend to involve people with disabilities or disadvantaged conditions. We collaborate with many associations that work to support them in order to offer anyone the opportunity to participate, even free of charge, in our training and experiential initiatives.

CETOLOGIST WHAT A PASSION! (since 2021)
SOCIAL PROJECT SUPPORTED BY THE LIONS CLUB CATANIA ALCANTARA.
Summer training course with theoretical-practical activities as part of the actions to improve services and opportunities for the community of Catania. Children of the “Down Syndrome Families Association” impersonate the figure of the researcher to collect data at sea and learn about the cetaceans of the Gulf of Catania, led by the association's marine biologists and federal technician
HOPE PATH (since 2020)
Meetings with young men of the "Sentiero Speranza" Community of Biancavilla (CT) which aims to build personalities free from addictions, as well as their social and work reintegration. Notes on the biology of cetaceans and on good sustainable practices to protect the planet sea.
THE SEA AND THE RESILIENCE OF ITS INHABITANTS (since 2020)
Training and refresher school for the Police Force and Prison Administration Staff. Sailing experiences with insights into marine mammals and turtles and their adaptation to environmental variations, and application of the citizen science in favor of the good health of the sea.

FRIENDS OF MARECAMP AND THE DOLPHINS
We have created a network of friends who share our same passion for the sea, especially the constant commitment to protecting the vulnerable marine species of Sicilian waters. They are organizations of fishermen, tourist operators and diving centers that adhere to the "Friends of Dolphins" protocol, promising to respect a code of good conduct during their observation, and to report any useful sightings to Marecamp for scientific and conservation purposes..
